Albright College 2017 Class Tribute
Danielle Kelly
Danielle Kelly is an English and Secondary Education major. During her time at Albright, Kelly has been heavily involved in campus life and activities. She is a sister of Phi Mu Fraternity, a former Treasurer of the Albright College Dance Team, a tutor manager at the Writing Center, member of the Pennsylvania State Education Association (PSEA) member, a member of the Greek honor society Order of Omega, as well as Education Honor Society Kappa Delta Pi and the English Honor Society, Sigma Tau Delta. Kelly has also held several leadership positions within the organizations that she is a part of. After she graduates, she hopes to get a job teaching English in a middle level or high school setting. When asked where she sees herself in five years, Kelly states, “In five years hopefully I will be working towards my masters in English so I can become a level two teacher.” Although she has not accepted any job opportunities as of now, Kelly is currently applying for teaching positions in the Philadelphia region. Kelly is nervous for graduation, but is looking forward to relaxing once she receives her diploma. When asked what she will miss the most about Albright, Kelly states, “[I’ll miss] all the friends that I’ve made here that I’m not sure if I’m going to see after I leave.”
